You could go for the Stillen at 4x the price You could also maybe get a local shop to customize another cars bar to make it fit the maxima.

Don buys bulk from Courtesy and sells it. I don't think he stocks them anymore.

As for the Trust. A couple of people already bought and test fitted those on thier Maxima's w/o problems. Try search.

I got that first bar with the black end plates from that same guy. He deliverd the bar quickly. The bar is well made, looks good, and fits good on my 2K1. I've never seen the bar with the red end plates in the second link. I'm happy with my bar but I don't think it is really a Trust bar because it is made in Taiwan. He claims they are original Trust bars but I think he is false advertising. I'm happy with the bar and it was a good price. See pic.

Thanks for the help and picture. Yeah, I thought it was a little cheap looking for a "Japanese" bar. I know they get those Taiwanese bars for around $35 not including the mounts.

Thanks again for your help.

Does price really matter? Im kinda curious more expensive mean better quality (maybe not), how about cheaper crappier quality (not always so). So how is one to decide

There's another guy selling FSTB's on EBay, in fact he just concluded a Group Deal with 30 of our fellow members.

Check out my write-up (with photo's) in the How-to section.

How did you handle the air cleaner bracket on the drivers side tower? Use the ghetto method of cutting part of the bracket away?

How much does the FSTB actually help? Is it a noticeable improvement?

I just got the one on ebay. For the ones who have it is it good. Do you think it's as good as the courtesy bar.

Here's a write-up of the FSTB install with photo's.

In my setup no cutting or modification was needed.

As for the effects:
1) Less torque steer due to less flexing of the front end
2) In tight turns there definitely is a tightness to it and steering response is crisper.
