Funny Kill..

This is a funny KILL. I was at a light and I had 1989 Chevy 454 SS pickup and a Mitsubishi , Maybe a 2000 Eclipse GSX, with RICE screaming from it ! They both were reving their engines at the light. I was behind them. I figured, I would get behind the rice, since I thought it would be slower, I could see the FULL LENGTH headers the collector sticking out the bottom of the 454 SS ! The light turns GREEN ! They both massh it , so do I behind the SS, and guess what, the SS is in the lead, I pass the Eclipse... HIT Left, and in about a blink of an eye , the SS is reaching my rear door.....Ha Ha Ha !!! They both were turning right at the light. They both gave me a strange look !!!!! I loved it ! Smoked an Eclipse GSX and a 454 SS with HUEVOS !

shhh, i don't think he quite understands.

So, yeah, those 2000 Eclipse GSXs are FAST! Cause, you know, they have AWD and a turbo... during the production year of 2000.

I raced a 1997 Impala SS... it was fast.

Did he mean GSX, or GSXs like you posted? The GSXs was the only year they had the 6-speed option... I'm surprised you beat it, they're supposed to be 13 second cars.... those 2k 'GSXs'es.

Yeah...and I've got a mint-condition 1983 Corvette that I'd be happy to sell you. No miles on the odometer! Plus my other car is a 1996 BMW 540 that would SPANK the 2002 Maxima with the 5-speed option ANYDAY Sorry...I was getting a little carried away there...

After that you can show him that you're 2003 Camaro Z28 means business. I never knew there wasn't a corvette in 1983.

Yeah, GM took too long for the plant conversion, so they built the Stingray-style (C3) '82s midway into '83, then came out with the '84 (C4) for the second half of '83.

If you like to read, check out the book "All Corvettes Are Red" by James Schefter. Interesting story about how GM works from the inside. Kinda helps you realize why the won't build the Camaro any more either...too damn stooopid to keep the customers happy.

You must remeber one thing. Rice cars put all kindss of weird badges on their cars. Being not so well informed on what particular RICe was made in what year, I go by what logoss say. I guess I was wrong.. Nice race though....

at least they still have the C5 and are building up; Z06 has 405 HP. What is GM going to do with the entry model sports car now that there are no more F-Bodys to compete with the stang?
