BTW, I didn't say Greg couldn't lower the price. That was 20 MAXIMA 02. Of course he can do ONE deal, but after that what? No more Stealin products. Therefore, any SMART business owner would NOT **** off Stealin and get their distributor status revoked.

Your previous statement, "i gathered that he COULD sell it for any price he wanted if he could just actually get the merchandise to sell.", did not make sense, since he would NOT be able to lower the price and CONTINUE to deal with Stealins' products.

 

i though the Ugggh was a type UGGGH. and yeah im sorry, you didnt say that about lowering the prices. technically, my statement did make sense because he CAN in fact do that if he wants to. but you're right, it wouldnt be logical if he wanted to keep dealing for stillen. BUT like i said, stillen already doesnt like him because they think he sells their stuff for too cheap. so he's already been through that situation.

 

sheesh sorry for starting all this.. i simply meant that as a distributor of stillen, one must abide by stillen's rules for selling their products or else stillen wont sell to them any more.

Well when this header/y-pipe combo cmes out and actually gives 20+hp then I'm going o predict that there will be a bunch of 13 sec NA Maximas this summer.

you know what this mean, once i get 13's maybe even before these, hopefully april 3rd while it's still cold i'll have to get nos again and run low 12's. i can't be in the same pack as everyone else, what about a S/C someone has to be making one.

 

This is funny, I called dean last week and he told me the same thing. He also told me the 2k2 front strut bar will be a 3 point bar, and that they have a supercharger in the works for the 3.5

I didn't say anything cause I wanted to wait and see, I had the strangest feeling someone was pulling my leg. Don't get me wrong, dean is a cool guy, but the answers came a little too easy and I'm a natural born skeptic when it comes to stillen.

But anyway, if it's true, I'll be SOOOOO happy to have a N/A MONSTER. =D...
who knows, when the Z comes out maybe we can drop the cams in for even more power...hehehe

i went to a performance shop semi-near my house and asked them about turboing my car but they didnt want to touch it because its so new. i WILL get a supercharger if stillen comes out with one and i WILL have my car close to 400HP fairly soon thereafter. okay maybe 400 is dreaming. how much is a supercharger supposed to add? nigel's turbo gave him 90 HP to the wheels so thats what im basing everything on.

my friends are worrying about warranty for me. is anyone else worried about doing something so drastic and voiding the remaing 2+ years of your warranty?

 

yes i am especially worried... notice that i havent dont any engine mods yet. I am waiting for NISMO to come over (HURRY UP PEEPS!!) and then i will go to a muffler shop and get a dual exhuast with NISMO mufflers and cat(s) and hopefully trick nissan to keeping my warranty. im a sly fellow

I don't know about you...but I would rather have Nissan pay to fix a $488 MAFS (for example).

I don’t think it is the labor that the warrantee is really giving you. If you are like me, I am sure you would rather do all of the work yourself, or have someone you trust do it. It is the cost of those freaking parts that the warrantee shows its value.

I would be very hesitant to get a supercharger while still under warrantee...but who knows. Once I see it push 1/4's to low 13's maybe high 12's...I may reconsider.
