park my car where no one could park on my right side. But when I get to my car I notice there was a truck parked where there was no parking space, but I thought nothing of it. So I get to work and show someone my rear clears that I just finished installing lastnight and low and behold I see it was cracked, then I look up and my car has a dent the lengh of a cantelope and caved in slightly. It could not have been at work b/c I parked where none could park on my left side only grass. What makes it even worse is that the person didn't even leave their insurance info, but what goes around comes around, now I need to reorder some clears. Just venting AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

just to keep it in the family

haha well at least you guys can claim insurance sayin' "someone hit and run" with it being true.. but i can't.. my mom hit my max in my drive way with her car. (xj6L) nothing was wrong with her car at all, my car is all scraped up and the dents are non-repairable. gotta replace the door panel.. i think her rear right fender was what scraped up my drivers door.. the dent isn't going to get fixed until some other ppl mess my car up.

the inevitable

the inevitable just happened. some **** hit my max. front bumper on the upper left hand corner has a scratch. only some paint came off, but no cracks or dents. it has to be a truck or something of the sort, cuz the scratch is just so high. im pissed. im wondering if scratches like that would be kinda fixable by body shops.

you're fortunate

good thing no dents or cracks, all u do is tell the paint shop to just paint it.. there's two ways. the best way is paint the whole bumper, or have the body shope sand the scratch and it's surroundings and prime and just paint that section buff and it looks like it was all painted together (the whole bumper) saves money.. up to u.. i gotta get anew door or sumthing.. <sigh>

you guys just reminded me...

...talk about idiotic-while I was in St. Louis this weekend I dropped a heavy golf bag on my bumper and put 3 nice 6" long scrapes on the top of it, but they can be buffed out luckily. I just have to find the time to do it. And there is a nice gouge on the door trim I noticed over the weekend that is about the size of a fourth of a dime. I even make it a point to park my car away from everyone else, unless I have to park it close to others, but SOMEHOW people always wind up parking next to me. Its inevitable to have a few bumps and bruises on a car especially in NC where people drive like complete idiots, and park even worse. I know the Maxima is not a 350K buck Rolls, but I still love to keep my cars nice looking, without a dumb*** banging their door into it because they just at at Ryan's and have to waddle out of their car to go shopping. Sorry. That was bad. Oh, my gf likes Ryan's. I remove that statement heh heh.

After parking in my high school parking lot for 3 years I learned a few thing... First of all...
we have two "parking lots" one section is like L shaped... goes around the back of the school... these are the better spots... after that its down to Eaton St. Thats a lot down toward the road in the back... about 1/4mile away... no one wants to park there... so grass & near poles and fences and squeezing in is all fair game... hell I've done it... i scratched the bumper on my escort and ripped the bra when I had it cuz I squeezed in by the fence and hit the fence with the bumper... I had to climb out the hatch... I was really late and it was pouring so I wasn't parking in eaton street... anyhow... watch for spots where people can squeeze in and either park right close the the parking line on that side so there isnt room to squeeze in or park slightly crooked so your back end swings slightly into the "squeeze spot" just a few tips I can think of at teh moment... cuz i once saw someone with al little old junky toyota SQUEEZE in past two cars in the center of them (cuz the center was a not supposed to park there... and he just pulled past into the grass just so he could open the door to get out... I was like if he ever pulled that **** near my car I would've killed him. Oh well GL... and just think... when u park "If I was in a MEGA HURRY where might I try to squeeze in..."
~tommyBoi

Organize a Parking Committe... LoL... we had a little protest thing (Seniors) and we got preffered Senior parking, basically, ONLY SENIORS were allowed to park in the L shaped good lot All Freshman, Soph., Jr's had to park in the Eaton Street Lot... It got implemented only a month or two before school ended last year, but it was still nice and its there now for all new seniors
