I have a nice new chip in my windshield from a rock one threw at me on the freeway. Grrrrr Thats what I get from not passing him quickly like an @sshole.

 

I try to stay away from them as far as possible. Not only rocks fell off from them, they sometimes also sway around on the road because they are so huge....

This guy happened to be on the onramp ahead of me and it happend right as I started to pass him.

 

I have 1 nice chip and 1 spider web... Try staying away from the ones without the mud/dirt flaps.

 

Oh ya, they are slow as &@%$^# on the onramp...
we have tons of them in So Cal highway.

What is it about these windshields? I have a chip in mine too. I swear the glass in these things is made cheap! The paint too. I have close to 40 chips in my hood already. I just turned over 18,000 miles and I have had it for 14 months! I am very rarely on a dirt road and I know that MOST of the chips in the hood are from normal driving.
