Whats the stock ride height with stock 17s?

I installed maxspeed springs and didn't measure the orginal height.

Now its 26.5" in the front and 26.6" in the rear from the ground to the top of the wheel well after lowering.

Anyone with stock SE with the 17's can measure the orginal height so I can calculate the drop?

It was dark outside so i could only measure to the point that was visible to me... from the ground to the fender line (e.g. the curved part of the fender closest to the wheel)

Front: 28"
Rear: 27 1/4"

These are rough measurements given i had to use a 12" ruler to measure this but that should be pretty accurate. Btw, all wheels are at 32psi (just verified this yesterday)

Thanks! Thats a about 1.5 in the front and .75 in the rear at 30PSI for me.

I also checked the passanger side and measured 1/8" (.125")lower but I can't tell by looking at the car?
(26.4" front and 26.5" rear)

...How do the springs ride in comparison to what your stock ride was like? Is it a lot harsher? How hard are they to install???

I just installed my springs a few weeks ago. It lowered the car 1-1/8 inch in the front and 5/8 inch in the rear.

Didn't really change the roughness of the ride at all. Handling showed a marked improvement.

I'd agree. The ride is real close to stock but a little stiffer over bumpy roads. Real stable at high speeds and in turns. A great improvement for under $100.

The install was relitively easy. We did to max's in 6 hours. I would reccommend a friend to help, as the hardest part was to line up the struts for reassembly.
