2k2 insurance what are you paying a month

I was just wondering what everyone else is paying for their 2k2 maxima insurance per month. I got quoted by state farm for 178.00 a month. Seems high to me. Of course I am only 21 so that may be why.

I pay around $136 w/State Farm, but I am 26 living in Philly burbs. Your quote isn't that bad at all. State Farm is a great privider! But call different State Farm agents, as they each set their own prices.

21 y.o. with a 2k2?... what will you own at 26?... a fraykin Lambo Murcielago?

You may want to check into Travelers in the Philly area, I have found them to me cheaper than State Farm.

$806/6 months... Not bad.

Place you live matters a lot. Even within a state. Some cities are more expensive insurance cities, so there is no real way to compare apples to apples here...

I have state farm and I am paying right around that 178$ mark. I am 24 so I have one more year until the rates fall. 178 is the cheapest I could find in Atlanta.

Yeah, but sometimes the 3rd-party funny-monkey agents aren't as reliable. My brother's insurance company went broke (Reliance) right after his car was totalled (me driving - not my fault )and they were pretty big! It took him 6months to get the money for his car. He had 2-payments for 6months, and Honda financing was on his case cause there was no collateral - it was totalled! StateFarm is huge & I've heard nothing but good stories about 'em. My rates should drop some more, when I move my homeowner's with them. Dude, my bro used to pay $320/month for a freakin NEON in Philly, when he was 21. It was higher than his car payment! Which is why we've moved to the burbs!

Oh yeah, my ins. rate is for a clean driving record no accidents/tickets.

$506.85 every 6 months with allstate, married with children, over 35, multicar disc, homeowners disc, and good driver rates...also no teenage drivers covered.

I think it's high for where I live @ border of IL/WI.

I can understand that, but Traveler's isn't a small company. I have been with them for almost 15 years. Still haven't found a cheaper rate. Both my wife and I each hit a suburban rat (deer!) with our old cars and their service was excellent. No hassles about what brand of parts we wanted to use in the repairs, and one of their certified shops happened to be one of the best body shops in the area (Brandywine Coachworks). We pay $70/ mo for our Max. but we get discounted since they carry our homeowners, other car and no accidents. Granted we are 35, and are in the suburbs. It really sucks when your insurance costs more than your car payment. That has got to hurt, but I was younger I went through the same things. That is why I drove a Civic Si for so many years. Fun car to drive, and insurance was reasonable.

Yep, it's full coverage. $250 comprehensive and $500 collision deductibles. Got the quarter century discount 6 months before I turned 25, which was pretty cool. Now if I can just get rid of those damn speeding tickets

$417.94 every 6 months with state farm, married with children, over 35, multicar disc, homeowners disc, and good driver rates...also no teenage drivers covered. I could lower it if I raised deductibles and drop stuff like replacement rental car coverage

Buford, GA.... a suburb of atlanta

after reading all of your rates I KNOW I need to move!!!
$2004 for 12 months, and $172 a month, 500 deductible (full coverage 2K1 GXE)

but...I live in Miami, Florida...which has some of the worst drivers in the nation, most of whom have no Fu**ing insurance...

it was lower than that...last year i was rear ended in my sentra (totaled) by an old chick with NO INSURANCE....who then immediatley faked a heart attack so she would not be arrested

and the evil part about it is that the B**ch didn't get a ticket for the accident....even though I was sitting at a red light

yeah it was last april...(it'll be a year april 15) but I still haven't gotten over it

everytime I see a volkswagon fox I break out in hives

I hate you young man. It should be a crime for a young lad, such as yourself to be driving my 2K2 Sterling Mist Max . No really, glad to hear you got a 2K2. I think it's about time we started a Max culb in Dallas. By the way I pay $116 a month, 36 years old, no wrecks or tickets. However, I pay a premium for business use on my car.

Re: 2k2 insurance what are you paying a month

Good thing you don't live in Canada.
I was at about $400/month (in real dollar currency) when I was 18 and driving a GTP - insurance on a Z back then would have hit me for about $600/month (or more)
Now at 22 w/my Y2K SE (it's been almost two years now <sniff>), I'm at about $300/month

Ontario drivers under 25 pay out of their a$$es for insurance..

I called about an M5 two weeks ago, and they quoted me about $550/month.. that's about $850 in canadian funds! Suffice it to say I'm looking at getting a 2k2 instead now

I pay $78/month full coverage. I'm 28, married, 1 kid, no wrecks/tickets. Been with State Farm since I was 15 (lots of discounts)! Sad thing is, the Max costs more than my Mustang GT did when it was a year old!
