WHAT IS THAT FREAKIN NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT!!! Before I take it to the dealer I don't want to be snowed with some B/S. The noise sounds like a rattle...not a ping, clank, or thump. It happens when I drive either on a semi-smooth road or bumpy, wichever. Have any on experience this? If so, please max brothers respond.

From your description it could be anything -- hood, suspension, engine components. Have you checked for obvious things that are loose under the hood? Take it to the dealer. What have you got to lose? If you have suspicion that a particular dealer is going to BS you then go somewhere else.

Sounds like you might be experiencing the famous AC Compressor rattle. Turn your air conditioner off and see if you still hear it.
Mine sounds like a dang diesel engine and seems to be getting worse.
