New best E.T. tonight (N/A) @ Etown

Just got back from Etown...great night...nobody piS$ed on the track!
Well anyway...
I just wanted to get a baseline before I slap on the NOS next week...
And i got a best ever Naturally Aspirated time...
This was WITHOUT my cattman y-pipe (sold it)...
Only mods: K&N filter, Remus muffler, 15" 97 GLE rims.

R/T- .189

(i was racing a 9 sec camaro)
60'- 2.213

330'- 6.262
1/8- 9.572 @ 75.00mph
1000'-12.425
1/4- 14.81 @ 94.25

*** My other runs were all within 5/100ths of a second.

Looks like my cars running good again...
Time for that 100 shot...

<edit> i didnt know "PI$S" was a bad word.

Can you please list your mods?

Too bad Kev has your SC and stuff. You max will be a sick car with AE kits, wheels, and your old mods....

i do NOT miss that SC at all!

i already listed my current mods:
K&N filter
Remus muffler
15" 97 GLE rims

coming soon:
100 shot NOS (have kit, installing next week)
turbo kit (have parts, waiting on manifolds)
19" rims (street)
15" slicks (track)
much lower E.T.

oh wait...i forgot to list some mods i just put on:

new OEM rear spoiler
new OEM rear bumper
new OEM fog light kit
new OEM 2002 taillights

maybe it was the foglights that made me faster?

SICK MAN! Oh yeah, still planing to relase the turbo? There was a hype going on like 5 months ago about you making turbo.........

Why did you sell those Italian wheels???

What the hell happened to your suspension? You sold those too??

those wheels were too heavy (64lbs per rim/tire)...
my new 19's weigh less than 1/2 what the mille miglias did...

about the turbo

whether or not i will mass produce it is yet to be seen...
if its possible and theres enough *serious* interest it'll make it to production...

in the least i will have bolt-on turbo manifolds available for the do-it-yourselfer (manifolds are the hardest part of turbo kit fabrication)...

but i'm optimistic this will come to life in the near future...
just taking longer than expected...

Sweet times. I've never been to the track but been dying to go. Next time you go can you let me know? I'd like to get used to it before I tell my friends about me going. Don't really wanna embarass myself in front of them.

Hopefully I'll have enough funds by the time the turbo is ready. The more people we have interested in it, the more likely you'll mass produce it. I gotta help the cause

-was the K&N a drop in?
-did you remove your spare/seat for weight...or gas?
-what rpm did you drop/feather out the clutch
-what were track conditions?
-power shifting?
-tire pressure?
-oem tires on the 97 wheels?

that should about cover it, sorry for the pop quiz.

A turbo + 100shot?

Will the engine and tranny be able to hold that amount of power? How much do you think you'll put down?

-was the K&N a drop in? NO, JUST CUT THE MAF PIPE IN HALF AND ATTACHED A CONE FILTER.

-what rpm did you drop/feather out the clutch? 4500-5000, SLIPPING.
-what were track conditions? MID 50'S, DUNNO BAR.PRESS., ETC.
-power shifting? NO, LIFT THROTTLE.
-tire pressure? 35 PSI (STOCK)
-oem tires on the 97 wheels? YES, CRAPPY BFGOODRICH 205/65/15.

that should about cover it, sorry for the pop quiz.

100shot *until* i install the turbo.
then its *just* turbo and maybe a 40 shot?
