All I did was to cut a little duck tape and put it on the inside of the lights along the seam.....it has worked fine for me....I only did this because I got my clears at about 12 at night and I didnt feel like waiting. I planned on doing the sealent but I havent had any problems so I never did it......

Ditto for me. Works so far and there has been a lot of rain where I live for the past 30-45 days, although the car is garaged.

You might try buying a sheet of foam squares with an adhesive backing; you can find them at any hobby store such as Hobby Lobby. They're usually used on the backs of pictures that are hung on a wall. I put them on my rear clear markers when I originally installed them and they work well.

I used aquarium tank sealant. I got rid of the loose shifting by tearing off the padding on the stock lights and placing them onto the new clear ones

Bury your clears with condensation in a bag of white rice. It works...The moisture should be outa there in a day or so.

You serious, that actually works? What happens, the grains suck out the moisture?

Did you ever wonder why sometimes a little diners you will see white rice in the salt shaker. The rices take the moisture out of the air to keeps the salt from sticking together and preventing it from coming out of the shaker. Rice is extremely good a sucking up moisture.
really works try it!!

peace

I will try the sealant when I get mine. I just got in on the Group Deal that is going on. Right now we are at $45.95 per set...and that includes insurance and S/H. What did some of you pay?

Hehe...yep. Just like what Bulldawg said, white rice sucks up a lot of moisture. My dad had a watch that had condensation in it before. The moisture was gone in a day when he dumped it in rice.

See...a little "rice" can be quite useful sometime

You can place the side markers in an oven as well. It has to be on the lowest setting of course and you may have to watch it. When I initially installed my side markers they were getting condensation and I stuck them in the oven for about and hour and a half on "warm" which was about 120 or 130. And yes the silicone sealant (aka caulking)is the way to go. I put that on the seams of my side markers and since then no problems. You can get it at any hardware store and even auto parts stores.

Clear Silicon here too, got a tube from Home Depot, Mine had condensation, believe it or not I dried them by first taking the bulb out and shaking the excess water out then holding them one at a time over my halogen living room lamp for 20 min apiece the reflectors help "cook" the moisture out, I did each one off and on for 3-5 min, cooling in between so I wouldn't melt them, then repeated the process, laugh if you want but it worked then I sealed them and no more condensation.
