what does it take to remove the clear plastic from the cluster...
i was trying to polish it, since it seems that previous owner used rough paper towels to wipe it and it has bunch of scratches. but, i can't get to it right, plus some lint got through the odometer reset hole insede and it bugs me.
i'd like to take it off, polish it and put it back. what's all involved?

This guy traded out his GLE/GXE gauges for SE gauges. After you remove the cluster, I think the face is just able to be unscrewed. I am not possitve though.
He is on the board under Dario I think.

you will then see two cables attached to the cluster i used a flathead to undo them. after just use the flathead to push down the tabs(7) the fourth pic shows some of these tabs look carefully for the clear tab on the far right of the pic
