I have had my eibach springs for a couple of weeks and this weekend driving to LA the driver's side rear spring popped loose of the shock!

Let me tell you it was like being in the rodeo. The car bounced a lot! I got it fixed but need to make sure it doesn't happen again..

You guys that have the Eibach's- make sure they are on all the way and can't pop loose.

If I were you , I will run down to the shop that installed them and scream the f*** outta them...

It should never happen with a proper installation

Did you install the Eibachs yourself or did a shop do it? If so, which shop?

Shop advice!

OK guys, so this all happened on the day before Thanksgiving.

The spring came loose and was really awful. Ride was like going over a big *** bump every time the wheel rolled around.

So I called a mobile fixit guy- turns out the guy is some big fat hick *** who used a hammer and jack to push the spring back up to where it was supposed to be... the whole thing really sucked. Cost $100 bucks cuz of the holiday.

So now I should go back to the place that installed em right? But they are the only place in town and I don't wanna **** em off. What should I do ask for?

Advice anyone?

Thanks

go back to the place that did the install...they should warantee their install...if they didn't then you shoulda found another place...anyway...if the warantee it then they should fix what needs to be fixed...and id show them the receipt for the mobil place and kinda screw them in to paying that as well since the repairs were to fix their errors....

so u think i should complain?

The reciept from the place i got the springs installed has a thing at the bottom saying they are not responsible if something goes wrong...

Plus... I got the wheels alligned at the dealership after getting the springs put in... they were fine till then...
Maybe it is the dealership's fault? But then I get screwed cause they dont like to deal with mods at all... they'll say it is the springs fault...

I am just ****-d off. What if something really got damaged like the shocks? What if I got in an accident?

So who should I complain to and how?

THanks all you guys for the advice so far...
