Tranny problems!

yea listen i was gonna start a post. in the last week my car has made grinding noises between 2k and 3k rpm and would get stuck in 4th gear! i would floor it at 30 and be at 3000 rpm! I am taking it to the dealer tommrow and if the try to sell me some bs. that its not the tranny since i am 100% sure it is I will be selling my Max. it only has 13,526 miles on it this is ridiculus.
Any insight?

ummm..

no. you dont have to floor at every light to kill it. if you understand the nature of the 3 TSB's that were issued for a trans, you'd see that the slip is what is causing the problem. matter of fact, a quick firm shift is better for it.

I was really upset about my tranny, but I was looking at a TL when I bought the max. They seem to have the same kind of failures and the same amount of trouble getting repairs (even tho its acura). So, no regrets, just another thing to deal with.

what would they mean by "slow or delayed shifting" in an automatic? does that just mean shifting at different RPMS? I guess the question is, what is normal?
