Struts & Springs for 2002 Max

Hey all,

I'm looking to put new struts/springs on my 02 Max. I see that Cattman makes a modifed KYB AGX.. but not sure what "modified" means. Should I wait for KYB to make one that actually fits (or maybe go different brand). Also am between the H&R and Progressive springs. I hear that both give a close to stock ride but the Progressive springs are cheaper and give more drop than the H&R, but it seems more peopele prefer the H&R, why is that?

Thanks,
RalphW

Ralph,

Check out the search tool. Very helpful for this topic. Quick answer is that H&R are of the highest quality. Another hint: Maxspeed!

If you search it, spring will come.

simple!

Got Stillen? Unless cost is an issue and how much did you pay for a new car????
I put in a Stillen front strut tow bar and rear swaybar with Eiback springs..... Awesome! Installation was a piece of cake!
car rides great and handles insane!

I'm waiting until KYB comes out with the AGX's - in the meantime I'm enjoying the H&R's with stock struts. Feels like stock SE ride but way more controlled - super flat cornering, firm but not punishing ride. Along with the FSTB I'm very happy with the handling.

You've got an SE, those struts match up very well with the H&R's.
