im going to get it painted pretty soon and was wondering if anyone has mounted the kit themselves. it seems really easy, what do you all think

 

Putting the kit on is pretty easy, with two people it's a sinch. As soon as my kit(3/4th's of a kit) comes in I am going to paint it and install it myself . How long did it take for your kit to come in from stillen? I ordered mine last Wednesday and it's still not here

 

it took about a week and half, what are u going to use to install.

i know im going to have put rivets or something in the bottom of the fender and some 3M tape. let me know how ur install goes

 

Thats cool, I hope I get my kit soon. The kit is supplied with some high quality 3M tape. Last time I put a kit on I used the tape and I drilled a bunch of holes and I put screws I filled them in with screws. That worked good for me, stillen recommends using rivets but I have heard some storys about them popping out

 

screw that im going with the screws then, by the way let me know if you get rivets and tape with it because i didnt.
