MOMO E-Brake Finally !!!

So Finally I installed the Momo Aluminum E-brake handle, there is no going back to stock after this one. I have to say that the install was pretty easy and took about an hour or two. If you decide to go for it just make sure you get the rubber adaptor from momo, I bought the honda one since there wasn't one for nissan and it works fine. If anybody wants I can do a "how to " instructions later. And check out my page with new wheels as well, H&R springs are on their way so the car will be on the floor soon.

Looks good. Definitely post the "How To".

What dash kit is that? Also, are those Stillen seat covers and are they leather? The look like fabric in one of the shots.

Thanks.

BTW, I think the 2K2 Shift Console would look AWESOME with that dask kit, ****, and handle. Check my website for pics.

e-brake handle

That looks great - Did you get e-brake boot from MOMO also? My 2002 is without a boot and although www.leatherseats.com has been promising me one for over a month now, I am starting to wonder if they will come through. Is the boot real leather and what did it cost? Which MOMO dealer did you choose also? Sorry so many questions, but that really does look nice.

Thanks,
Brendan

Looks very nice! Checked your website, lots of time spent on your car eh? If you would be kind enough to also list part numbers of all items (Handle,boot,adaptor...etc) you used in your install and where ya got them that would be great because I think the ebrake job you did is very sharp!

E-brakes

Really nice, where did you get the Momo E-Brakes and how much it cost, it's been a while since I wanted to replace the ugly looking one in our max.

Thanks

I e-mailed him and this is his reply:

I used the latest Honda adaptor and the original must be taken off, that is
why I say in my post that there is no going back....unless you really know
what you are doing

So I take it the MOMO boot fits the 5th gens?

It's the Honda (shudder) handle, Honda adaptor & Honda boot right?

Ciao!

...it's an ebrake handle... the ebrakes are identical regardless of transmission option. The Ebrake has nothing to do with the transmission...they aren't connected in any form? !?!? Why would it NOT work on an automatic?

And i like how some mentioned it was from a Honda like it's a bad thing? Half of you silly-persons are incredibly interested in this stupid modification... and me being a honda owner, would NEVER put on his car... Let's avoid the Honda = Ricer undertones, shall we?

I ordered mine from www.sportscar-parts.com. It's not that much cheaper but it's the best I've seen. E-brake handle $78.00, leather boot$42.50,adapter $4.50. You have to tell them you have a Nissan Maxima and they'll send you the adapter for your car even though it's not listed on their site. It's $5.00 difference, but $5.00 is enough for a 6 pack after you finish the install!!!
