Got Stillen FSTB for my 2002

I took a while because they were supposed to release the new version for the 2002. A few months later, the decision was reversed and today I received the 2000+ FSTB.

Now when they say you have to torque it to 40 lbs, how do you know when it is 40 lbs? Can this be done my hand only?

You can rent/borrow a torque wrench from Pep Boys so you don't have to buy one.

Typical stillen, I had the 2k1 fstb and phoned to see if it fit my 2k2. "No sir it doesn't" was the response i got. Now the new version is in the scrap barrel and NOW the 2000+ is being sold for the 2k2. Man they are the biggest scammers out there.

hehe...well, they redesigned the strut tower bars for the 2K2 only to realize that the two bar set-up wasn't going to hold properly..now they decided to stay with the 2K+ ones...i think someone from the R&D may have gotten fired..

yeah well this just pi$$ed me off to no end today. I must have called them 3 times regarding the fstb off my 2k1 and everytime I was told it wouldn't work. This is pure bs. Im still steaming about it. Stillen has NO credibility with me now. Bottom feeding scumbags.

Off topic. I see by your profile that you're in Calgary. Where did you get your FSTB? How much? Is the RSB Stillen too? I'm in Edmonton and I'd let you borrow my torque wrench... Canadian Tire has a tool loan program, might be worth a call.
