Holy crap, the guy in the civic must be dead or really screwed up by from that crash. Look at his seat. It was crushed by the door as was the steering wheel.
Damn little tin cans.
Reminds me of when i was looking at honda accord coupes and i asked why the door sounded so hollow and tin can llike when you shut it and she said its because the steel in the door is so thick...... Ya sure it is. It sounded like a pop can when you shut the door. It was hollow

I wouldn't like to be in that white GXE either. I'm sure he went sliding into something. What a clean car too. Probably found a light runner, or ran a light himself. A lot of salvagable parts in these vehicles. But I'd feel spooked that someone got seriously hurt or killed with these.

oh the humanity....the black max with its front and back bumped it doesnt look that bad...but every other one looks like the owners are pretty dead...jeez..

I saw a car on fire at the intersection right near my house once...was like wtf?

worst accident Ive been in was in a van...was a church meet and there were so many people in it...and pop...the front right side wheel gave out...i was in the front passenger...the only thing i remember was my bracing myself and the van swerving left then right...next thing i know...im hanging upside down saved by my seat belt....
i heard later on that the bus flipped and rolled twice and we took out one of those humongous traffic signs while we were rolling....seat belt saved my life...if i didnt have it on i would've flew out the right window and i would've been crushed by the van while it was rolling over....I know this because there was blood from my head on the window....whoa ok i got carried away=P...hehe anyway end of story=P

and luckily no one was hurt=) (well except for me)!...which i find hard to believe with the amount of people and luggage we had

I hope they survived too, but I bet they didn't.. at least not in the Civic case..

Interesting thing is I looked through ALL of these pics on the copartfinder.com site... (not the civic, just the max's.)

AND, believe it or not, I'm relieved... WHY? because I have been unable to find a MAXIMA in which the driver would surely NOT have survived (ala the civic). You could tell that some of these crashes were REALLY bad, and the driverside compartment has never collapsed (the passenger in the white max mighta got thrown around a "bit"), but none of them look really deadly..

One thing I didn't see in the Civic was blood

Talking with my uncle who's an EMT, the best way to tell if there ws a death or not was lack of blood. Most all deaths should have blood on the seats, steering wheel, dash, etc. So hopefully that guy lived....

Nah.. I would expect that in many of these blood was involved. (come on, think about it..) None of the cars on copartfinder.com have blood...

Did you ever cut your forehead?? it's not lethal, but bleeds like a ***** f#@$#&

I'm sure that the guy in the civic (and in any other car) would have at least had a nose bleed out of the whole thing (if he was lucky)... (look at what's left of his car!!)

I would attribute the lack of blood to the salvage guy pulling out a large hose and a taking out what he could... (I know I would get rid of blood first if I had to salvage pieces from the car.... spooky job I guess)

Btw.. Why are we even talking about this, and why are we assuming it was a guy... (I have seen many a woman drive like they stole it...)

I dunno.. i would say that they still might have had a fighting chance..

The drivers side compartment is not THAT bad, but if I had to make a guess, I would venture to say some severe lower abdominal injuries might have been sustained..

Again.. why are we doing this??

I agree... I have never street raced anybody (i'm 18, and trust me, there have been many temptations along the way.. i mean I'm SUPPOSED to make insurance premiums go up..right??)

Anyway, I just can't justify puttin other peoples lives at risk, so that I can have the satisfaction of raping some poor fool in a race...

Besides, I have an Auto Max 2k SE... A 5spd might make it much harder to resist....

Yeah I've got a 2000 GLE which only comes 4spd. I've even lost myself to temptation! But the fastest I went up to was like 85 and I slowed down. That was against a Firebird V8. I usually hit 70 and let it go. My last race against a Del Sol only went up to about 60 and I had to turn and the Honduh than zoomed by me.

Ehh... I wouldn't go that far.. I bought a maxima for a reason (and that reason is NOT to drive like I had a KIA)..

I commute at about 75MPH on fairly good highways.. (with short bursts over 90MPH sometimes [to pass trucks, etc])... You don't even notice those speeds in the Maxima.., and there's usually a fool willing to drive in front of me at the same speed.. (i call those "State Tropper Minesweepers")
