First 2k2 run at the TRACK!?!

14.775 @ 93.32mph

Well I know that these time are not great, but for my first time and a stock AUTO 2k2 SE I feel they are pretty good.. I think that next time I run, I will improve my reaction time, and get less wheel spin off the line.. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.. or any SUGGESTIONS.. THNAKS

Next time you go let me know I will also go up again. I am one the 15.1 to 15.3 guys that mattatax speaks of. I may have a problem with my car or I wonna find out if the SE & GLE have diff. ecu programming, anyone know?
Nice times you had really good weather for it (high 40's low 50's) although your 60ft times are in the same area mine were. Did you feel the track held good @ the start? Did you brake torque slightly, and if so what rpm did you lanch? Your mph is about 1.3 faster than my best but your time smoked mine by .4 secs, nice job!

Nice times!!

I'm with SS. Let me know the next time you plan on going to the track. I also have a stock 2k2 SE Auto and went 15.10. I think the trans had something to do with it though. Especially after comparing your timeslip with mine. I think it would be cool to have some 2k2 auto's get together and finally figure out what average times they run. Of course, everyone else would be invited, too!

a 2k2 auto ran a 14.4 a few months ago. i think maybe even someone got an auto down to 14.3. i could be wrong about that but the 14.4 was definitely auto. i think for the most part, the autos are getting right around 14.7

Those times are pretty good, about on par with my best of 14.68 @94.98 mph so far in my 02 auto! Good run and that car is tight!

I have just about 3000 miles on my car, and I really do notice that it is picking up more and more each day.. Really seems to run more smoothly now, compared from when it had just 1000 miles.. Well once again thanks for the compliments, and hopefully I will improve on my next runs, I think I need to work on my reaction time, and cut down on the spinning out off the jump.. But it was real fun and quite an adrenaline rush, being my first time..

Those times are a lot better than the 15.5 I ran with my 2k2 6 speed.
That was my first run ever. Hope to get back to the track soon and work on my reaction times.

hey just curious....how many miles did your car have on it when you got the 15.5? and what kind of gas mileage are you getting? i ran a best of 15.3 (with two other runs of 15.4)in my 6-speed with 1050 miles on it.

I had about 5300 miles on my car when I ran that time. I know I could have done better but I spun it all the way through 1st. Im getting about 18 MPG city and like 21 highway. It blows...

Smithtown Nissan was at LI MotorsportsPark on 4/14's Import Shootout w/ a 2K2 Altima and 2K2 Maxima both automatic and both bone stock.

Max was running 14.97 - 15.4

Altima was running 14.71 - 15.22

-Nuff said.

Hey ssiperko, remember the SE's are running wider Potenzas, while we're stuck with the crappy Turranzas... I guess we get way more wheelspin?...

I have a GLE with the turanzas, and I'm the one that ran 14.3 - but with a pop charger and exhaust.

BOIOIOING..... DAMN! Hehe, I've ordered a K&N filter from Berk Tuning that looks like the pop-charger (open-top style) and it's on its way. What exhaust do you have? Catback?

Hey forget about the Max... Whass up with your Supra?... I just luv it man!
