Hey All Fellow Maxima Enthusiasts...
I'm a new member to maxima.org...just checkin to see if this really works. I hope to one day too become a Maxima owner as my I am lookin' to buy a new car soon. My top pick is definately the Maxima because it is a AWESOME car and your getting a premium automobile without paying the premium price. I am also lookin into gettin a Camry... . I hate those...too vanilla, but reliable. And finally a WRX. Great cars but way too small and scrappy materials.
Any suggestions as to what options I should get? I already know I'm gettin the manual tranny and probably the Grey Lustre paint.

good luck on getting your new ride. as for the camry, i think that is 1 ugly car imo. i have a '02 6 spd, with no options. basically, everything i was looking for in a car was standard on the SE. the max is definately 1 sweet ride.

 

If you spend an entire day reading this board.. you will choose a 2K2 Se 6 speed. I have an auto, which still destroys most IMPORTS on a daily bases, even those with Coffee can pipes.... If you want real HUEVOS, go with the 6 speed.. I didnt get one because of the " WIFE"...

Yea currently I got a 2k2 Pathfinder SE. Man I LOVE this truck. It has got to be one of the most powerful 6 cylinder SUVs. Bombing around the backcountry is an experience everone should have at least once. But the Pathfinder takes way too much gas. It also gets pretty scary when you try and do tricks like in a regular car. I'm pretty resolved about getting the Maxima bcuz it is very similar to the Pathfinder.

Only time will tell......haha

Get the 2k2 6 speed-You won't regret it.
