grille opinions!!!!

hey watsup guys...yeah, Im sick of the look of my stock 00 grille. Wut is your opinion on how i can modify this grille to make it look better. I was thinking painting it black and then putting mesh behind it? Also i was thinking about ripping it out and putting in something like this in (the one all the way to the right)
http://images.marketworks.com/fullVi...aterials16.jpg

1. how many grill opinion threads do we need
2. people need to make their own decisions

I find the all mesh look just doesn't look right on our cars. It's too sunken in.

I think you should just do a 5.5gen front end conversion and then fill in the Nissan emblem with some riller or something and just have the 2 bars...

does any one kno where ONE can purchase a grille for the 01 THAT CAN TAKE AN EMBLEM ATTACHMENT?

or hell (lol), even a few sites that sell the 2001 grille's? Im not really interested in making my own grille, nor doing a 5.5 conversion

paint it black with mesh backing. Many of us have it that way...
(btw, the hamburger is black now too)

spend $4 on galvanized gutter guards at Lowes/HomeDepot and cut them to fit.

i read irishs post. that stuff is only 6in by 36 in. its not tall enough for the grill. the grill is about 11-12 in tall by 18 wide or so. i have the home depot stuff in the lower area but it will not work in the main grill area. the main grill is where i am looking to make a grill, so gutter gaurd will not work

Can't you guys use two strips of the mesh ? 1 for the upper 1/2 and 1 for the lower 1/2 to make up the total height of the grille ........

not really, the gutter guard is not that stiff of metal. i was gonna remove the whole grill and make one from scratch. i thought about putting them together but it would look really rice hahahah. i found a piece of expanded metal that is 24 in long. i need 27. but i am thinking on some creative ways to make it work. i hopefully will get it going soon and will do a write up on it.

hmmmm...

I like the Razr grilll, but thats just me.

You can add the hamburger logo easily because of the posts on the back. Just slop some glue on it like i did..... You just might want to center it otherwise you'll be bantha fodder.

Cause this is what i just made with the gutter guard.

Not to hijack but on a side note.. why does everyone on this forum bash everyone else? On other forums i frequent (all 2 of them) everyone is nice, and you know, understanding and helpful. Yet here, you ask a question and have to put up with a bunch of people who come in just to say how stupid everyone is, or that we've said this thirty thousand times. It's a forum, if everyone wanted to do all kinds of searching through 6 million threads, billions of posts, they could stick to google?!?! Besides,

Maybe I'm just a hypocrite.

EDIT... Props to MAXDFACTOR like the color combo and the drop. can't get away with **** like that around where I live, but i'd love to it looks awesome.
