Thinking about new rims, advice on these...

Recently purchased 2002 Pearl Se 6Spd. I love it. I am looking at 17x8 Mille Miglia EVO5 with 245/45/17's. The load rating on the Goodyears I was looking at was 95. Stock load rating is 93 so 95 will not be a problem. Stock overall tire diameter is 25.858 inches. Tire diameter for the 245's would be 25.681 inches.

Will a 245/45/17 tire fit? Can this affect turning radius? Any suggestions/advice is appreciated. Any constructive criticism is taken well too..

Suspension is stock too....for now.

The 245/45 will fit just perfect on the 17x8" wheel. And in all actuality, it is closer to the original 225/50/17 wheel size so that your speedo stays more correct.

tire suggestions

True, the speedo reading would not be off by much. I thought maybe 18x8.5 wheels with 245/40/18's. Overall diameter would be 25.716, even closer to stock diameter.
