Hi all. I'm planning on buying a 2001 Maxima SE 5spd with super black exterior. I have only seen black leather interior on this car and was wondering what everyone thought looked best with this exterior. I'm definately going with leather and am torn between the black leather or the frost colored leather. Unfortunately the dealers in my area don't have any Maxima's with the frost leather interior and black exterior for me to compare.

Also one dealer told me that the Bose system was required with the Leather trim package and another dealer told me it wasn't. Nissan's site says it is required. Anyone know what the deal is with this?? Thanks...

Go with the black leather. Black leather is by far the best looking interior for any car!!! Just sit in a car that has all black leather in it and you'll see. Good luck... Remember go with the black leather, you won't regret it!!!

U need the bose for Leather, and Leather for Bose. Nither are part of C&C. Black leather, BOY I hope U don't wear shorts, that stuff'll leave blisters on your lets in the summer but get the black leather, the frost doesn't look as good as black.

I don't know if you need Bose to get leather, but you don't need leather to get Bose. Both of my Maxes had cloth and Bose

Thanks for the Correction. I now remember, when I was getting my car there was another one with BOSE Cloth for about $700 more. Thanks for the info, I wasn't paying attention.

actually, i prefer cloth over leather any day. i feel like im slipping too much in them.

even if u bought the car without the bose system, the dealer would put them in for a mere $2,500. thats insane

I've got the Black/Black leather combo and love it. The frost is attractive but if there is one thing I've learned about light interiors . . . they get dirty. Also, light colored leather shows creases and wrinkles as the car ages MUCH better than black.

By the way, the leather is great - and it helps a bunch when you try to sell the car - in my experience.

Thanks for all the input! I'm looking to order my car in January and hopefully have it shipped sometime in April. The dealer said that should be the earliest I could get it by. I've looked at a bunch of cars, but keep coming back to the Maxima so it looks like my mind is pretty much set...
