i have decided on the 18X7.5 inch racing hart Z5000's....i am getting 225/40/18 tires....i am getting the silver ones....the total price to my door comes to $1649....with mounting and balancing......what do yall think about my choice?...i need opinions before i order them.....ALSO....does anyone have any better choices??

Dont you think that the tire should be a little wider?? 215 is what I use to put on civics. I just got a friend 225/40/18 and that was for a Celica. Just my $.02 I have 235/40/18 on my car.

 

they're pretty nice but you're definitely gonna want wider tires.

I have 235/45/17's and i'd like mine to be wider.

 

he's getting the 225/40, not the the 215s advertised.

 

225s are still not wide enought. Will throw off the speedo too much compared to a 235 or even a 245/40.

Hey Albert, I think you should definitely go with 235-40-18 because ot the 7.5" wide rim, thus 235 would better fit, the 225 tire would expend to match the rim with and would not look as good.
