we raced from 70 to about 110 mph. i allmost rearended him , we started out with me behind. i kept leting off gas.could not get next to him due to traffic. he had special exhaust(chrome mufflers underneith)and a big stupid wing. not even a race. i think it said 3.5liter on the trunk. i read they have 215 h.p. but he was modded.the exhaust sounded deep like a v8, allso walked a mustang 95-96 gt..80 -120. walked him slowly but surely......

it was most likely that crappy V6 3.5, i am wondering how it would be againt the 4.0 V8 with 250hp

I raced one of the V8's back in August of last year. I beat it, but not by much. They seem to be pretty comparable with the Maxima auto's. Of course with your mods you should leave either of them behind.

I raced a 96 SS impala b 4, we took off dead neck to neck then late in first I fell to his rear door but later in second i pulled up on him and he fell to my rear door but then we noticed the red light ahead and they come up pretty fast when ur doing 80 on a regular 2 lane two way street

Had a similar race with a Grand Prix GTP. I'm going at about 75mph (my normal cruising speed) and this white GTP rolls up right behind me on the NJ Turnpike and then tries to dart around me. I hit the throttle and immediately start to pull on him as I see him try to keep up. As I reach traffic ahead of me I slow down and look in my mirror only to see this guy bearing down on me hard and then braking hard.

This is what I love about my 2K2: Putting those S/C Grand Prixs in their place AT WILL!
