Well, I went to the dealer and they said that they could not do the bumper tsb under warranty because my car's VIN is not included in the TSB, even though it's obvious that that is the problem with my car. The TSB lists only cars built before certain VIN numbers as being affected. This assumes that cars with VIN numbers after those listed were supposededly fitted with the new clips when they were built. If that is the case, then my trunk should not be rubbing on my bumper. There is no real way of finding out if my car has the new clips on there, unless the bumper is taken off to look. I then called the 1-200-NISSAN1 and they lady looked into it. She ended up calling the guy at my dealer to find out what was done to fix the bumper problem. After talking to him, she was told that they did the best they could to fix the problem, and still could not fix it according to the TSB because my VIN does not fall into the category. I asked her if there was any way of getting the TSB changed to include my VIN, but she wasn't too sure. So I guess this is Nissan's fault and not the dealers. So I am stuck with my trunk no aligned right, and I would have to pay out of my own pocket if I want to get the new clips put in. Should I try to take of the bumper myself and look at the clips? Then if I see that the clips are not the right ones, I can order them from the dealer and put the new ones in myself? Would this be hard to do? I'm ****ed and frustrated.

I feel your pain. My neighbor hit my car when it was parked outside my apartment. Well the body shop used old clips when they put the new bumper on. Now I have scratches all over my new bumper similar to those caused from the TSB. I have taken it back at least 5 times and the meat heads at the body shop continue to make the problem worse. Right now I am thinking about going to another body shop and paying out of pocket. I have already paid some money to get my car buffed. Some how when my car was in the shop they got over-spray all over my roof and rear quarter. Its just one problem after another.
