In Cabin Microfilter
Hey,
Do all of the 5th gen Maximas have the In cabin microfilter that you're supposed to replace every 30,000 miles? I found the instructions at http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruc...infilter.htlml but I don't seem to have the stickers on in my glove box that they mention. So does that mean that I don't have the microfilter??

You most likely don't if you don't have the stickers.

I know...
it was optional on 2000. no sticker, no filter.
You may want to think twice about doing one..
1. $40!!!
2. I dont like the smells that come thru the charcoal filter. Some smells are completely blocked, but others are even worse.
3. I'm not sure, but ever since I started using them, I've had problems with a ticking fan motor... same on my Pathfinder..

I have not ticking motor, as of yet, I do not recommend washing them at all (they are paper media) and like Tim said they are 40+ a crack.

Long story short, it's a pain in the **** to figure out where the hell the filter is, when you don't actually have one.
I'm compiling a list of parts/part numbers Nissan has chosen to leave out of later built models(cheap bastards!). I hope to post it soon.
