I think I've seen those picks before. They look great. Question: Where did you get it and how much? Also, how hard was it to cut out the plastic handle that comes with the car?

I unscrewed the plastic handle that was on the car. BTW I don't think you have seen these pics before since I just took them a few hours ago and this is the first time I posted them. Check the other thread for links to buy the stuff.

I'm on the left seat and the "stain thingy" is just water, it was raining outside when I took the pic. On the right seat there is a white towel which I used to dry the seat (missed a spot though, ha) when I was taking pics with the door open

Actually that looks really good!!! Someone said that it might look funny because of our black release button on the brake .. but I think it suits it fine.

How long did it actually take?

Thank you. The install took about 2 hours to do, I had no clue how to do it so it took a little bit. I lifted my whole center console up to unscrew the damn plastic "boot" piece, that took some time and brain storming. After that I pulled out the heat gun and extension cord and heated up my oem handle, after the heat hit it/ it came off real easy, the chisle and hammer did not even budge it! Then I took out the little rubber thing which is along side the boot. I put about 10 screws into that rubber piece and the momo boot. The boot is in there real solid now! I don't know how the other guy's get there boots to stay in place since the velcro does not work at all.

How does the MOMO leather look/compare in person to the 2K2 shift boot?

The pics look good, but sometimes the colors aren't accurate.

I have hacked the sh** out of the top portion of the handle and cannot get it off. Please show me the light?? Obviously there is no going back after the mess I made of the handle. Even vice grips will not pull it off. Any write ups or hints would be appreciated. I have an Anniversary Edition if it makes any difference.

Use a hair dryer or better yet a heat gun and heat the E-Brake handle up a bit. Once it is good and hot put your hand on the handle and twist to the right and then to the left, short little jerking motions of right to left while pushing the handle towards the dash. It should come off much easier this way, if you don't have a heat gun just hair heat it with a hair dryer for a while.
