Washer Nozzel Lights

Does anyone know how i can hook these things up so that when my lights come on, they turn on as well? Any write ups on this... I might also want to add a switch as well so if the switch is off and headlights are on the lights are off and if switch is on and head ligts are off, the nozzels will be off...

Please help?

I don't get it - why lights in your washer nozzels?

Oh wait, just the other night I was driving and thinking to myself "Just where are my washer nozzels? I can't see them - are they still out there? I hate to loose them. I need something.....something that will always show me that I still have washer nozzels, 'cause I just can't bear the thought of not having washer nozzels. And not only that I need to SEE my washer nozzels."

To each their own...

But I do not believe that there is a write up on this specifically.

You will have to do some wiring to get done what you want. If you just want them to turn on with your lights, tap into the parking light wire assembly for power. If you wish to add an additional switch then you will have to take the power from your "source" in this case, the parking lights, run it to a switch (probably located in your cabin) and then use it to add addition control. I.E. when the cabin switch is "on" and the parking lights are on, LEDS are on. If the cabin switch is "off" then the LEDS will never come on.

But be careful installing this mod as I believe someone lost a bolt inside the hood subframe because the nozzels/lights hardware is not super easy to get to. Go slow and do it right the first time.

i happen to think they look kinda cool.....

but ya hafta get the hyper white lights and they MUST be used in conjunction with HID headlamps.

I used to have'em and had them wired to a switch I had by my steering wheel but I decided to get rid of'em.

I personally like them.. I want to set mine up to only come on with the turn signals.. I like them that way.. But the reason I haven't installed them yet is b/c I have big hands and can get the rubbber washer and bolt in the hole under the hood.. I have the hyper white ones... I'm open to suggestions....

I got a pair about 6 months ago when they first came out. I think I've probably turned them on about a total of 3 times. I had mine wired to a totally independent switch so I could turn them on and off as I pleased. I've got the blue ones and the first night I had them on I came up behind somebody on the highway and they actually pulled over! (I guess they thought I was a cop) Since then I have been kinda reluctant to drive with them on. Don't want to get hit with "Impersonating an officer" or something .

They're sweet if you're into lighting and aesthetics. Wire em to an independent switch, so you can have em on regardless of whether the other lights are on or not. My neons and everything can be switched on without the key in the ignition. It's good for shows and such. Peace.
