What's your FASTEST KILL to-date?

What's the fastest car that you've beat so far, and how much hp do you think he was running?

I have a 2k2 and the the fastest car that I've beaten SO FAR is:

New Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
HP: 240
Torque: 280

It was close, though!

I beat a 5 year old's bicycle with training wheels by at least 10 car lengths. Judging from the VW commercial on the Passat W8 i say i'd beat the Passat real good.

I ran against 540i, I think it was Auto. He had mods, exhaust, wheels and other stuff I think.
I pulled on him pretty bad, and I was surprised myself.

a 2k1 Mustang GT (auto) at the track on Friday, he ran 14.7 but his reaction time was about 1.5--my cousin's 330Ci (5 sp.) but he's selling it soon and thinking about getting a G35 Coupe

Just the other day, I beat a BMW 525i. Those cars a joke for $35K+. 184 hp and 175 ft.lbs of torque. I'd like to run a 530i 5-speed auto. That'd be a good race.

mattattax,
How far did you get him (Mustang) by? Do you think it would've been a different result if it was an even start, or do ya still think you would've taken him?

While it ain't Y2KevSE, I dusted a 944 Turbo with coffee-can exhaust on the highway - 250hp stock.

And all in a 2K 5-Speed (with some maniacal driving, of course.)

Pinto... I edged him out by about 6 inches.

Defininitely the MKIII Supra Turbo (3.125 pulley), the Carerra (2.87 pulley), and an older Vette (3.0 pulley).

Same here! The fastest car I've beaten to date has been the GTP but it wasn't all that close (though I wouldn't say I pulled HARD on him). His GTP was only able to hang with me when I applied the brakes. Under throttle, he faded each of the three times we went at it.

I beat an s2000 pretty bad the other day, it was from about 10-95mph. I put a few cars on him. To date that would probably be the fastest. I beat a 97 GSX Eclipse. Take Care

oh yeah, it would've been a different result if it was an even start--my time was in the 14.8s and his was in the 14.7s, it was a good close race--I don't remember how many carlengths I won by, I just know the "you win" light went off in my lane--I hear that the newer stang gts (auto) run 14.2 stock so this guy must've had a bad launch--he was really cool and complementary of the max too

I had a 540 6-speed with the 3.15 diff

instead of the stock 2.82 diff & no other mods and my best run (with way too much wheelspin) was 14.15 at 102.4 mph so a 2k2 Max against an automatic 540 -even with with the Sports package and its 3.15 diff-would be fair game.

maybe 1/4 mile, but those BMWs mated with that V8 is one hell of a highway monster. I highly doubt any stock 6speed maxima can pull "hard" on a 540.

Re: Re: Re: What's your FASTEST KILL to-date?

I dunno, as i posted in an earlier thread that sig of his seems photochopped.

1) Seatbelt light is on (ok, so maybe he ran w/o seatbelts on)
2) No gear light (D,3,2,1)
3) The photo is too crisp and too shake-free for a car running 120mph+ on any decent road.

But that's probably just me nitpicking.

Ok you say you beat a weak 96 stang GT by only a car length but somehow managed to pull ". . the whole way, . ." on a V8 540i? Yeah right! Those 540i's are mad fast and will spank any stock 2k max even with mods!! I know because I had one pull from behind me and pass me at 100 mph and that's even when it was like 32 degrees outside. My car ain't no slouch but I have a tremendous amount of respect for the 540i. Stupid smack talk like yours just makes this board look bad.

Re: Re: Re: Re: What's your FASTEST KILL to-date?

That is why I said that I was surprised too. I was behind him when he floored it and his car took off, I think I was in second gear, and by the end of third I almost hit his rear bumper I was gaining so fast.

I think 540i Auto runs like low 6s 0-60 and high 14s in 1/4 I think. I might be wrong.

WINS:
1)2K1-2K2 IS300 Auto from 63mph(just shifted into 3rd) to 98mph(shifted to 4th) by 2 to 2-1/2 car lengths.(I only had STS, no intake)
2)F250(Gasoline) Pickup it was UGLY. He started it by blowing by me as I moderately pulled out of a stoplight and was just shifting to 2nd with low RPMs.(I only had STS, no intake)
3)90-91 CRX Manual just accelerated moderately in 2nd away from rolling light as he FLOGGED it. It sound like he had a stuck lifter though.
4)RICER Mid 90's Accord Manual it was UGLY and repeated a few times.

LOSSES:
1)'01-'02 Camaro SS from 93mph-140+mph it was UGLY, but FUUUUUN!(I only had STS, no intake)
2)Dodge Ram he ran a 15.6 1/4 while I spun tires and ran 16.53.
3)70's V8 Camaro Dirt Track Race Car I had her 3/4 of the way, but the hp/tq just outpowered my 15.636 to her 15.680.
4)95+ GS Eclipse Manual he ran a 16.539 while I spun tires and ran a 16.435(I know I won by time, but he beat me to the end because of .992 R/T vs his .532!)
5)2001 AE Maxima Auto I ran a 15.508@89.78 to his 15.683@88.80mph. DesertPearl(Phil) had JWT POP, Cattman Y-pipe, and Greddy Catback.

my old man burned me in his LS430 just yesterday from a 40 mph roll on. we were side by side, then we both floored.. but he had an extra gear in his automagic, and about 70 extra hp.

raced a SL300 later on that night from a dead stop right before going on a freeway onramp. I braked torqued, light turned green: I jumped out about 1.5 car lengths, the sl caught up by within .5 cars by the time the automagic shifted into third, then pulled away from me at the top end of 3rd gear from then on ... all the way into the night on the freeway.

I don't see how it looks "too crisp"... I have a similar picture of me going 125 or so and it looks similar. Because of Flash the gear light isn't visible and I have a digital camera. Cars aren't THAT bumpy going 120... VERY smooth. If you car shakes alot going 120 theres a problem.
