Yeah right!
Those 540i's are mad fast and will spank any stock 2k max even with mods!! I know because I had one pull from behind me and pass me at 100 mph and that's even when it was like 32 degrees outside. My car ain't no slouch but I have a tremendous amount of respect for the 540i. Stupid smack talk like yours just makes this board look bad.

Point is.. the 540 may have been the faster car, but it's certainly possible to have been beaten. (IMHO)

The Viper had race tyres, but couldn't brake as late and couldn't WOT as early as I could. Yes, my CRX with V700s and EBC Reds can outbrake a Viper w/ stock brakes and Hoosiers.
The Supra was just testing his car. Therefore, wasn't really a tough race on my part.
the Camaro and the Vette was beaten by my '88 supra w/ 250rwhp/316ft-lbs of TQ...it did high 13s at 11psi.
no one asked the most in my maxima.

5)2001 AE Maxima Auto I ran a 15.508@89.78 to his 15.683@88.80mph. DesertPearl(Phil) had JWT POP, Cattman Y-pipe, and Greddy Catback.

1)2K1-2K2 IS300 Auto from 63mph(just shifted into 3rd) to 98mph(shifted to 4th) by 2 to 2-1/2 car lengths.(I only had STS, no intake)

many people dont believe it but i kicked a porsches (2001 Boxster silver) ***. I live in washington and we have quite a bit of hills up here, i live on a plateau and going up a hill really makes my maxima shine. anyway mr. porsche thought he was all hot and every thing so he starts to pass me but i think it took him a minute to figure out that i was matching him, i was accelatoring with him, he shifted down, i floored it, nuff said, mine shoots to 5400 and bam, he's left behind in his little porsche, to bad for him, he got whooped by a 10 year old "luxury" car.
I kinda feel bad for him, not only because his ego was hurting but also i know what he was going through, my moms subaru is just like that, up here, 4 cyl. really dont stand to much of a chance, they just cant haul.
i think that i have scared many people, or atleast confused them, everyones heard a little rice buzzing along, but when they hear the stock maxima at 6600, well heads turn, wheels fly, and backs are in seats. at my schools car show, i beat a wrx (daddys car) when he was trying to be cool reving his engine, i just said shove it and took my maxima up, principal came by and said way to go, put him in his place (he drives a maxima also, hes had about 3 of them, his first had 187,000, then he sold it and bought 2 more, he loves them). anyway i got the principals stamp of approval, thats right, my $4000 maxima kicked $40,000 cars asses. heeheh gotta love these things.

First time at the track. Have you raced at Firebird? It's not that good for launching. Low to mid 14-sec. cars have a hard time breaking in the 14s, since traction sucks if you don't have drag slicks.
