I left the neg unplugged 16 hours, reset the radio but not the SES. I heard something about having to disconnect BOTH, why is beyond me.

Went to the dealer, got the SES reset and has never come back on.

This is one question I've always wondered about. In my Prelude, it like any newer car, was OBDII. In the Prelude we were told to reset the ECU once a week sinec OBDII tries to counteract your mods to remain compliant to its emissions codes. I wonder if it is the same with the Maxima as well. Does anybody know?

The only real way to reset the thing is with a OBD-II scanner. As for the computer learning your mods, at WOT, the fuel maps are hard-coded and the OBD-II computer info is probably bypassed.

Yeah, I ran unfortunately...lol. It was around 87 degrees and the humidity was around 80%. It was miserable and my times suffered. I ran 14.4 all day with a trap of 95-97mph. Thats 2-4mph slower that when I was stock, clearly the humidity was killing me out there. However, it was good practice for launching. I was hitting consistent 2.2s. Basically, the best launch is a fast clutch release from around 3K rpms. I tried feathering from 4300 a couple of times just to see and ended up getting 14.7 times with horrible 60fts. No more of that. You need to launch low in order to take advantage of the torque curve. Ofcourse I'm sure you already know that.
