Rear Kit only

Hey,

I am thinking about installing the rear stillen body kit on my silver 2000 SE 5spd. Has anyone done this? I don't plan on installing the side skirts or the front kit; would this look funny or unbalanced? I am trying to maintain a semi-lux look. Please post pics if you have them.

Thanks,

T

The stillen sides look weak to me too

The stillen sides look weak to me too. Does anyone know if the 2k2 sides will fit the 2K/2K1? I think the Stillen aero lip, 2K2 sides and stillen rear valence would look awesome.

I have stillen side skirts and the rear valance. I tried painting it myself and it came out real crappy so now I am waiting to get it painted and then I will install it. Once I put it on I will post some pics, I think it will look pretty good while I wait for a front lip to come out.

The sides and rear came to $579, a bit to pricey if you ask me.

I don't think the 2K2 sides would match with bubley rear.

I had my stillen rear piece painted a month ago and last night i finally decided to test fit it on there to see how it looks. I really like it, it looks good I like the way it looks with factory sides. Rear valence makes it look even, because without it the rear is high. Can't wait till I put it on this weekend and get Stillen's rear section

Looks good! It looks very even with the rest of the body.

I've messed with the curves a bit (color correction) to compensate for the dark areas.

A couple more photo's here

any more pics

Vadmin,

did you ever take anymore pics with of your rear valance; a side profile shot taken in the light would be ideal.

Thanks,

T

Yes it will look stupid. There are those that disagree, but I think if you get a kit, you should get all 4 pieces (not neccessarily all from the same kit). Or whatever pieces you need to make the car have an even underbody line all around. If you get the Stillen or the AE lip kit, I think it's really subtle and is perfect for the semi-lux look.

looks fine to me!

well, i don't like kits that try their darnest to alter the lines and look of the car...that's why i like Stillen kit...

but getting just the rear kit..yeah, it would make it look weird/off balanced..

btw are there are other front lips avail for 5th gen besides the Stillen Touring lip you have and a lip from AE kit? I like the look of the back of your car...no offense, but the front is just not cutting it.
