If you were to have a new look for the front grill, what would you want it to look like? I kinda like the Pontiac grand prix gtp look. Or maybe from an aftermarket kit from Erebuni for the Infinity G20 (they both kinda look the same). Is there anybody out there that knows of any place that could do custom fibreglass work?

Look this one up!!!

Check out the Oct./Nov. issue of LOWRIDER EURO tagged "IMPORT FREAK-OUT". You'll see Kenwood's 2000 Max (Purple) with a meshed looking grill. Call the editorial dept. to see if they can give you info on the shop that put it together. I heard from a post that they were not thinking about mass production, but hey money talks...get my drift!!

Big H, you and I seem to think alike. I've been keeping an eye out for aftermarket grilles for the Max but haven't seen any. I think a honeycomb look like the Grand Prix would look good, or perhaps something with more horizontal bars that are thinner. Powdercoat or paint it black, and you'd have a pretty easy mod that would really change the look of the front end.

It's not too easy to mod because the grill is connected to the bumper...

Bummer. I hadn't really looked, but I figured the grille would come out with 4-6 screws. If it's part of the whole bumper assembly, that's another story.

Yup, I found out the hard way. Others have tried taking the grill off and came to the same conclusion.
