Konig Blatants or Pay off credit card debt

Okay guys, one question...If you had about 2 grand to spend, would you use it to get the 18" konig blatants, or use it to help pay off your credit card debt. I have been going back and forth with this and I am soooooooooooooooooo tempted to get new rims. What would you do???

That is a subjective decision marky3320 which should be made solely by you and a significant other, if any. But since you asked..... if all you had was 2Gs in debt then go for the new rims! If you have more debt piled up above and beyond the 2Gs then you have to consider the rest of your financial health. If you can replenish that 2 grand fairly quickly and pay off that debt then go for the rims!.....

That's what you wanted to hear right..(buy the rims).. I'm sure enough org members will say the same and put you deeper in debt...

Enjoy the new rims

IMO you should pay the debt and then buy the rims on the credit card!

It all depends on your finance rate

if you have say 9.9 apr or lower, what the hell, get the rims. But if you are getting bent over for say 18.9 pay that card off. I have come to the realisation that no mater what I earn, or do I will owe someone for the rest of my life.

BTW the Bride of Chucky movie is corny as hell and I am still watching it so don't listen to me.

Pay the cards off. You are wasting $20-$30 amonth in interest. I had the same dilemma. Only I went for the Konigs.. They looked nice, but At that point, I was paying $40-$50/month in interest. Get rid of the debt. I LOVE being debt free!

Dude, pay off the Card

I know it's very tempting, but you have to pay off the debt. I'm getting about $1300 for my tax return, and i want to get rims, but i'm gonna pay off my credt card.... This one card from Providian is charging me 30% apr.. That's right, 30 %.. But I only have $1000 on that card, so i'm gonna pay it off, and rip the ****ing card.

Funny coming from someone who has rims and every other part.

Pay off the credit card(s).

The "shiny penny" of new rims will wear off very quickly if you go that route. Use the rims as a reward when you reach a predetermined financial goal. By that time, you may decide new rims hold less appeal than they presently do.

Definitely the Credit Card

Got to pay off the credit card. Its better for you to pay off the credit card and save up for new rims. If done in the opposite order you'll spend twice as much to do both.

Hey ArticMax i had the same card. And they did jacked up the rate also i called and had them reduce to 16.9. then i paid it off and cancelled the card. speaking as a blemished credit recoverer If you can prevent any type of debt its almost always the best route. The rims will always be there unless(there is an offer you cannot refuse )

As an old guy who now pays cash for cars, pay off your debts and you will not believe how easy it is to get ahead. Wheels are not worth it if you have to worry about it!
