Has anyone ever tried to replace your Maxima's rearview mirror with the one that come in the Infiniti I35?

If the rumors are right, the 2k2.5 Maxima (2k3) Titanium Edition will have this. If that's the case then perhaps you should just wait until that last version of the 5th gen comes out.

although, my explorer had a compass and i miss it. even though its not necessary i wish my maxima had one
