Yea...my car seems to make some weird noises when i have to brake really hard... i seem to loose pressure at the pedal and when that happens, it makes a noise like something clicking or like "a softball bouncing around really fast...i seem to stop fine...buh it makes some weird noises and it worries me...think ish ABS??? my fwends tundra vibrates everytime we brake kinda hard....buh my is like ONLY when i slam on the brakes... wut is it?????

 

Read the following link and tell me if this sounds like what your car is doing. I just had my 2k2 at the dealer yesterday and they claim that's what the problem is with my car. They haven't looked at it, just gave me an answer based on my description of the symptoms.

It sounds like ABS...if you think it's something wrong, bring it into the dealers. Or test another Max

 

YEA it kinda sounds like that....but ish ONLY when i brake hard....and i own a 2k2....i dunno...imma go to thr dealer like on weds. cuz ish not a big deal...well....it is...buh im not going to crash or ne..thing....

 

This sounds exactly loike ABS, when you jam on the brakes they will lock up, causing your tires to skid. ABS coutneracts this by modulating brake pressure so many times per second as long as you have the pedal floored and it detects wheel lo0ck-up. it should feel like a slight but annoying judder. As a driver, you should use threshold braking and not need to use ABS, but that's for a different occassion. this sounds like it is the ABS system working perfectly...nothing to worry about.

 

its prolly the abs kicking in. i hate it even though its good to have... i love braking smoothly to a stop.
