Mods vs. resale
I'm about to get pretty serious into modding my max (eibachs, toikos (sp?), y pipe, new stereo head unit, etc.) and I'm wondering what this does to resale value. Will it raise it, drop it, not affect it?

it's a kick in the ***** but doing all the stuff we are doing to our cars is goin to make it harder to sell in the end. reason being that when you alter the cars appearance and go to resell it will only appeal to a certain amount of people not everybody likes the aggressive look. would your grandmother be interested in a car with 18" wheels and a bad *** sound system? I didn't think so. just try not to think about selling the car now thats what I do.

Nothing in the end...
I use to sell Isuzus here in Atlanta an when someone would come in to possibly trade on a vehicle, even though their trade-in was sharp with aftermarket equip, etc. in certain places, the wholesaler would drop the value a tad. Just like the gentleman before me stated, you won't get much (forget full value) Do yourself a favor, when you become tired of the car, put a FOR SALE sign on it. Heck even try CARMAX...they buy cars for a little more than an average dealer would give you!!!

take off the mods and sell seperately, usually it's the best way to recoup some of your investment.
