Too Much Oil?

Ok... Yesterday I checked my oil (turned on engine, waited until operating temp, turned off, waited 10 minutes, took measurement) and it was right in between L and H. Today I left it off for hours and checked again and its RIGHT at the H line... Is this ok?

hard to get a good reading...

the dipstick is funky.. to check it warm, pull out the distick and wait a few seconds for any oil that has sloshed into the tube to drain out. then put the stick back in and pull it back out quickly. you should be able to get a good warm reading that way.
