re: F brake pads

I asked the dealer if the pads were the same part numbers and they said no (but I don't really think their parts dept. is very good).
Also, Nissan supposedly upgraded the brakes w/ thicker rotors for the 2K. Unless the caliper is very wide, one would think that different calipers would be needed to accomodate the thicker rotors.
As for changing the brake pads, the reason I want them out is because they are very good. The brakes on the 2K Sentra SE were much better in feel and in initial bite. Factor in the fact that all my previous cars used lite-duty road racing pads (and no, not the junk Axxis/Repco metal masters), so you can understand why i think the braking isn't up to par.
