Does anyone know if the front brake pads are unique to the 2k max? If not, what other models share the same application w/ it?

looking through the rim

the break setup looks the same as the 4th Gens. man still too early to be worrying about breaks. Although I've already had mine cut at the dealer.

I asked the dealer if the pads were the same part numbers and they said no (but I don't really think their parts dept. is very good).

Also, Nissan supposedly upgraded the brakes w/ thicker rotors for the 2K. Unless the caliper is very wide, one would think that different calipers would be needed to accomodate the thicker rotors.

As for changing the brake pads, the reason I want them out is because they are very good. The brakes on the 2K Sentra SE were much better in feel and in initial bite. Factor in the fact that all my previous cars used lite-duty road racing pads (and no, not the junk Axxis/Repco metal masters), so you can understand why i think the braking isn't up to par.
