Enough is Enough ...!!!

My 2K1 is 11 months old and I started to notice more chips on the hood everytime I washed the car. One day I decided that "Enough is Enough!!!", so I took my car to an autobody shop and had my entire hood repainted. I don't like bug-guards, so I had to think of a better way to protect my new hood. I did some research (while car was in shop) in this forum, and I found a product made by 3M that will protect my car without using that Ooogly bug-guard. The product is a clear film that sticks to hood and protects it from chip damage etc. -Anyway, I purchased the hood, bumper and mirror film and I will be installing it as soon as the weather gets better. The total price for the film was $279.00. Hopefully I won't get any chips by then...
