Hey guys, I talked to Stillen, they are making the SC ... (they admitted to that) but it will be out sometime towards the end of the year.

I assure you. There will be no room under a V8 Max hood for modification. I stick with the 3.5 and enjoy the option of SC or turbo.

It seems to me that Nissan is making big strides to standardize on the VQ35DE engine. To me that says Stillen has an opportunity to sell a SC made for this engine. Whether or not this kit could be made to fit with the 02's is not clear (it looks pretty tight in there).
OT: VW just announced a V8 option for the Passat. So there is certainly a precedence for doing so. Why they did this puzzles me as it makes the Passat cost nearly as much as an S4. And an S4 is more than likely faster than a V8 Passat.

but i would pay 40k for a Lexus. Personally, I am pretty sure that I won't spend $40k on a Nissan or a VW.
OT: I have no clue why VW is making so much competition b/t them and Audi. First they have the W8 Passat (i think it starts at 36k) and they are going to come out w/ another sedan called the phanteon or something like that and its going to be more luxurious than the Passat.

Funny, I talked to them two days ago for a header/Y-pipe update (estimated within a month, or say they say... ) and they said that a S/C for the VQ3.5L would be AT LEAST a year and a half away and that they aren't to into it just yet. Ofcourse I hope you are right and it does come out soon! I'll be one of the first to buy one I assure you.
As for the V8 Max...........I'll believe it when I see it.
As for the V8 powered Passat....I'll outrun it (C&D tested one not much faster than the VR6 variant) and there is no way I'd pay almost $40K for a Passat.

And don't even get me started on the W8. It's no faster than a TL-S or a 2k2 Max auto. It's a $37,500 answer to a question very few people will ask. They only want to sell 5000/year. Good thing.
