warranty vs. mods

This has been the subject of many a post. My $.02 is that if you can remove the mod easily, then do so. Why deal with the hassle? I had my FSTB on and nobody at my dealer mentioned it when they changed my oil (a freebie) or did the pedal stopper TSB.

Now I have my RSB on and I've been considering asking them to do an alignment check. My alignment is not out (as far as I can tell) but I thought I might as well see if I can get them to check it. I'm sure they will notice the RSB, possibly even the FSTB. For now, I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie.

TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN OFF!!!! THEY WILL HASSLE YOU WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR!! I TOOK MY FRANKENCAR OUT AND REPLACED THE STOCK BOX BACK BUT FORGOT TO CLAMP THE HOSE AND THEY HAD A COW!!!
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON SINCE I DIDNT CONNECT THE A/F METER WIRE ON AND STARTED IT, IT WAS A SIMPLE RESET OF THE LIGHT AND I WAS ON MY WAY WITH LOTS OF HASSLE.

Am I the only person that has a 'cool' dealership as far as service goes? The service manganer and a couple of mechanics actually complimented me on my mods and after the mechanic drove it, he said, 'shes got a mean growl now doesn't she?".....lol Ofcourse it all helps that ALL maintenance/repairs to my old 94 SE since it was new was done by the same dealership and 90% of the time by the same mechanic.
