Specs. For Struts Bar

Hi,

I am trying to installed my new Front strut Bar... does anyone have the Torque specs for the 6 bolts... please let me know... and also, do you need to lift the front up to intsall it or can you just leave the car on the ground and unscrew the bolts..??/

32 - 34 lb/inch, 35 is ok.

u might want to use search next time...some ppl here are really sensitive about answering same question over and over

have fun installing.

You know waht maxioverdose, i did a search and found nothing on this or the installation of the front struts bar... But thank you for telling me it... i will have fun tommorrow....

The FSTB install was supposed to be so simple, yet it iritated me to the point that I almost took the torch to the thing ! Damn 2K2 Manifold !

why? what went wrong? can you tell me so i dont make the same mistake tommorrow... please.. thanks???

do you know, if i take out the three bolts on one side and then the other would that mess up my alignment???/

No, youre alignment will be ok. The geeric FSTB have to be aarched by tightening the bolts on the bar itself , so it can clear the manifold on the 2K2, otherwise it rubs when you put it in reverse... Its a pain in the rear. Its almost worth it to get a Stillen one, that fits properly...
