$180 for the hood, front bumper, & side mirrors INSTALLED. Is that a good price or am I getting ripped. thanks for the response in advance
That seems like a superb deal to me. I think I rememer someone in the New England area getting it done for over $400.00
. I need it for my car too. Just make sure you take it to a perfectionist, otherwise it'll look horrible.

I have to have mine redone. Driving on the highway something exploded all over the windshield causing all kinds of chips in the window. The object hit the hood first. I went to look and the 3m protected the paint from chipping for sure. **** is unbelievable. And to give you and idea of the force of impact, the object left a dent in the hood about 2" in diameter. NO CHIPS. Just have to have the dent pulled.
I had mine done for about $400, full front wrap plus the hood, headlights/foglights, and backs of the mirror housings. I had a heck of a time finding somebody willing to do it, most people in my area didn't feel qualified to do more than just the hood and mirrors.
That price seems awfully low - was that the labor to install it? I shopped around and paid $399 + shipping for the entire kit from Xpel. I installed it myself since the nearest place willing to do it was over 130 miles away. The bumper piece and mirrors were a little difficult, but with patience and a helper it turned out looking very good. Bugs wipe right off without any problems and it sure makes washing the car easier! I put mine on with about 600 miles on the car and had one tiny paint chip. I would suggest if you've got any to fix them first before installing the bra since they will stand out like a sore thumb afterwards.

Make sure it's 3M and not the other stuff out there.
I had my hood, bumper, mirrors and the area in front of the sunroof for $450.
$350 installed Full kit
Socal
The guys came to my house and did a superb job, my only complaint is there are a few specks of dirt trapped underneath in certain spots, but that might be my fault for not detailing the front before they came. Bugs wipe off like nothing, and I'm proud to say I'm the only maxima I've seen with NO paint chips. (minus the one I touched up but you can't see it under the hood).

So if you wash and wax your before the clear bra is installed, will the paint under the bra will stay shiny? When you wash and wax the car in the future, do you only wax the non-covered areas? Maybe I am naive. Also I have been told that regular waxing helps prevent the paint from fading, will not being able to wax the covered paint cause it to fade more quickly than the rest of the car as years go by?

Don't know about paint fading issues, but you are supposed to wax the clear bra just like the rest of the car.

I love the look of mine so far, and it's doing its job as far as protecting from rocks, I've taken a few hits with no noticeable marks.
The only minor gripe I've got is that in a couple spots the edge of the material 'pinched' after a week or so, and left a raised spot about an eighth of an inch wide. It's not even noticeable unless you look closely, and I have never had this stuff installed on a prior car so I'm not sure whether this is normal or not. It hasn't progressed any further after an additional three months, so I'm not too worried.

I paid app. $300 for hood, mirrors, headlights, foglights and door edges installed. The wax will be removed and area cleaned before instalation. The paint under is not supposed to fade and you take care of it just like the surface of your car (I've waxed mine and washed it many times). It looks great (barely noticable). Your price sounds pretty good to me if the guy knows what he's doing. I would just make sure he's experienced with the product. Worth the investment to me.

Mine also included the headlights and foglights pieces
check the different at xpel.com, clearmask.com and some other company to get a rough estimate on the material cost and labor is about $100 depending to whom you speak to in the shop.
you also need to check the quality of workmanship at the particular shops because any finger/oil mark left on the inside of the 3M film will appear for the rest of your vehicle life.
Mine was a little messy with finger marks around
make sure they wash/ clean the surface throughly!
and try to stick around the shop/supervise the installation.
Good luck
