Navigation always comes on

Navigation screen always comes on when engine is turned on. It would be nice if it remained off if it was off when engine was last turned off. Also, any way to secure it from a Valet?
Thanks!

If you dont want a Valet to use it, pull the Cd out, and put it in the trunk, and hand them the Nissan Valet Key. This key only opens the doors, and turns on the car, no access to the trunk !

I beleive some other cars offer some sort of security option, eg a password. Much less of a hassle than pulling out the cd.

See where you live, drive to house , use your homelink to open your garage, etc, etc.

How often are you using the valet that this might be a problem?

Personally, I wouldn't trust those little bastards with my car. My buddy was a valet and he used to **** in people's trunks if they stiffed him and came back later...... He also sprayed WD40 into people's CD slots to destroy them, cracked a stereo in half on some guys car, and took a Viper (among MANY other sports cars) out on the freeway to tear them up. The sad part is that he was the MANAGER.

Always check the mileage when you use a valet. And bring a portable blacklight to check for urine stains.

try to post something useful at least to some more current threads...not some that are 4-5 years old. this is not a good way to get your post counts up.
