Tranny prob i think

Today I was driving with my cusin and his stupid *** tries to through the car into neutral and threw it into reverse so i seen it immediatly and put it in D then i notice the car cut out, so I cursed his *** out and then restarted my car. While I was driving afterwards i noticed it wasnt pulling the same. I dont know if it was in my head or not. But There didnt seem like there was any tranny problems, no white smoke or non of the such. I am just looking for some input if it is my head or did my ecu restart or some****.

nah...

you have a safety feature, your car just cut out like its supposed to.. prolly being paranoid now.. I know I would be. if you are really concerned, unhook your battery overnight to reset the ECU.

ECU reset

The ECU reset will clear any codes that have been thrown, it will also clear your "baseline" which is recorded in the first 15-30 minutes of driving your car. After you reset your car will take that 15-30 minutes to dial in the fuel/air mixture as well as the timing etc... during that time you will notice a significant power loss till it is finished.
Hope that Helps some.
