Does anybody know if the Nissan brand touch-up paint is laquer or enamel? This would be for a 2000 model year.

 

I'm not sure, but has anyone bought the touchup paint markers (with the clear coat on one end and the paint on the other) from Courtesy? Why is it that shipping on that is like over $7!!!??? I showed my local dealer a printout of the picture of the paint marker and there happened to be a rep from Nissan visiting. They showed it to him and he said he has never seen that before? Is this aftermarket paint, even though it has a Nissan logo on the plastic wrapped around it?

 

I have it too. The white doesn't really match.

 

I'm thinking of airbrushing some, which would make the paint look different. Maybe it would look closer to the body color sprayed evenly versus straight out of the bottle.
