touch-up suggestions needed!
touch-up suggestions needed!
Guys...somehow, somewhere, I got a nasty 6-8" gouge on the lower side of my front bumper. The scratch starts just at the foglight and goes back. It literally cut a groove into the bumper; very nasty. I have no clue how I did something like that and didn't know it! This, on top of backing into an equipment trailer last week and screwing up my bumper...5 months old and already going into the body shop!!
Anyway, I went ahead and filled in with touch up, but it is still noticeable. I thought I would layer on a couple applications, then come back and wet-sand with very fine grit in hopes to smooth it out, and then just buff it and hope for the best.
Anyone else have suggestions of some other means to correct? I may just ask the body shop when I take my car in for the the bumper repair if they can do it...but just in case, I welcome any good suggestions. Thanks!
