headers will cost like 500+ and give you 1hp shipping will cost more than the headers itself.

y-pipe... it should be out already no? i have to call wsp and find out cause i want one myself (for my 2k1)

catback, you can get a custom one for yourself

Im already getting a custom catback. I cant believe headers would only give you a 1HP GAIN ! WTF ! How could that be.

yeah its true. some guy with a 4th gen had it shipped from australia or something, i forgot where, but shipping costed more than the headers, and gave him a 1hp increase when he dyno'd it.

so one thing you should know, our headers are already that good

We'll see about the 1 hp. I heard the Comptech headers for the CL/TL-S yield over 20 hp. And I know Stillen headers for the 300Z have dyno'd well over 10 hp. Besides we're talking about an American made header for a 2k2, not an Australian made header (WTF) for a 4G. I'm like you Kloogy, I'm waiting on pins and needles for the y-pipes to come out and wake this beast up!

Maybe because of daily driving conditions in his area Bob Dolt!

Kloogy, Headers are not out for our car yet. Note that 1hp on a gen4 car does not mean that it will only give us the same. I have read many things stating that headers on a 02 will produce approx 5/10 whp. The y-pipe should produce 10/15 whp. The y-pipe is where they picked it up on the g35 and I am willing to bet that on the 350z they will get 280 from a combo of y-pipe and headers. Which makes sense if you put "family" related mods together.

That guy was me.. Shipping was about $150 and the header/Y-Pipe setup was about $400. Now what you said about the gains I experienced with the very poorly/leaky headers I got from NZ has very little to no relivence to how a high quality header/y-pipe setup would help a 2002.
Anyone can just bend some pipes in any which way (IE.NZ headers) and the results will show or lack there of. BTW I gained about 8.9 FWHP at around 4500 RPM over my stock header and stock Y-pipe.

According to stillen they made headers before for 4th gen and they only showed a gain of 4 HP over stock, the gains on that engine were not cost effective. Now 2002's on the other hand represents a whole new ball game. Seeing that on a 2002 you can not put a y-pipe on the only choice is to manufacure a header/Y-pipe setup. Just give it time..

My consistent assault on your ignorance has all but neutered you as a poster. Good news is you'll never again suffer the humiliation of shopping in the boys section for an athletic cup.

Freakin ..... I " CHOSE " not to buy a 6 speed. I owned a WS6 T/A 6 speed, and loved it. I now have a family, something a certain child, who is now " SMOOTH DOWN BELOW ".. wouldnt understand. Thanks for the Info Ethan. Im guessing there will be no Y pipe then, it will have to be a full headers to Y pipe setup.. ..
